I am Mexican, born in Guadalajara, Jalisco. I spent my entire life there until I turned 40 years old. I studied Graphic Communication Design at the CUAAD of the University of Guadalajara and graduated in 1999. Since completing my degree, I have been fully dedicated to graphic design and advertising.

My work experience as a designer spans various roles, including working for newspapers like El Informador and Mural, as well as advertising agencies such as Big Box and Wela y Asociados. Additionally, I’ve worked in large companies with their own design and marketing departments, such as CIOSA Autopartes and Artex Muebles. At Artex Muebles, I had the opportunity to lead the marketing and advertising department, acting as a creative director and overseeing a complete redesign of the company’s image, logo, communication, ads, and advertising campaigns.

In addition to my work for other companies, I’ve ventured into entrepreneurship. I founded several businesses, including Arketipos (focused on modern clay decoration) and El Gato Negro Café. These experiences deepened my understanding of the communication needs of small and medium-sized companies, making me more attuned to how businesses can effectively connect with their customers.

Since 2018, I’ve been based in Puerto Vallarta, where I run my own company which is simply called ALI. Leveraging my skills in photography and design, I offer comprehensive services to businesses, helping them communicate and showcase their products and services effectively.
